Dear Hannah and Family -

Though our family never had the privelage of meeting your wonderful husband, Gabe, our hearts are greatly impacted by your loss. Thank you, for the sacrifices that you and yours have made for the greater good of our nation. The selflessness, dedication, and love that you have shown for our country, our God, and our fellow man are appreciated beyond what words can express.

Our hearts ache for you and for your loss. Please always remember in your grief that Gabriel's service and his bravery will live on forever. You and your family will remain in our prayers and in our hearts.

And above all, remember this: Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

And - 2 Corinthians 4:18 - ......."so we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." This verse has helped me in my grief over someone I loved dearly, as I hope it may help you.

Please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss and comfort that you and yours are in our prayers.

In Christ,
Ben Baker & family

Dear Hannah,
Our hearts ache with yours. We, too, honor Gabe as a true hero, both as a soldier in the US Army and as a soldier of Jesus Christ. Everyone who knew him had the utmost respect for him and immediately were won over by his kindness, sincerity, his genuine love for His Savior and concern for his fellow man, and his example as a Godly husband and father. God makes no mistakes and He specially chose Gabe and you, knowing the eternal impact it would have on so many. May our loving Heavenly Father surround you with His love and tender mercies and be your strength and hope in the days ahead. Thank you for being such a wonderful example to the rest of us in so many ways, as a wife, mother, and in your faith in God. Little Gabriel is blessed, and God will watch over you both with His everlasting love. We love you and honor you, too, Hannah, and will continue to pray for you and for many to come to Christ through this. In Christ's love, Al and Cheryl Rogers

Dear Hannah,

Gabe was a man of righteous character, strength and faith. We will miss his ever present smile, easy going personality and kindness. We express our sorrow at his loss with many tears and great pain.

We are humbled by the great sacrifice Gabe made for his country and for us. For this we thank him and honor him as a noble hero. We also thank you for being such a loving supporting wife for him.

Although our hearts feel as though they will never beat again we know that our God is faithful. May you be comforted by the love of our heavenly Father who allowed His own dear Son to be sacficed on our account. Even in the midst of this dark time our eyes have become more aware of the glimmering ray of hope that calls us heavenward through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Psa 126:5-6
