Dear Hannah, My heart aches for you at Gabes death. The one thing I would have you remember is that God gave us Memories. I believe he gave them to us help us grieve. We have so many wonderful memories of Gabe, you & Baby Gabe. I know you treasure them as I will also.
God is a remarkable God and he has put you in a wonderful family so they can help you endure the pain of Gabes sacrifice for all of us in giving his life for his country and for the Iraqi People.
Gabe was a very dear friend and I will never forget the friendship God allowed us to have and the impact he had on my life. Thank you Hannah for letting me wrote to him during his 1st tour in Iraq.
In Psalm 62: 5-8 We find Peace & Rest " Find rest, O my soul, in God alone;my hope comes from him.He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shacken , my salvation and my honor depend on God, he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O people;pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge". I pray there is great comfort in his word at this time Hannah.
You have been a great example to all of us in seeing how God has been holding you up during this time of grief.
Hannah I am here for you if you ever need anything at all. I even clean toilets. You know what I mean. I Love you and I am here to help with anything.
I will continue to lift you up to our Heavenly Father every dayand I know he will guide you in His direction as you go on. I Love you....

Hannah & little Gabe,

Wow! I didn't remember that you and Gabriel's wedding was exactly 2 years after ours! I didn't think anyone else would be as crazy as us to schedule a wedding on such an already busy day!

WE haven't even had any kids yet (after almost 4 years together), but I think just maybe God blessed you so soon with such a bundle of joy - and with his father's name - knowing that he would always remind you forever of his father's love.

You are definitely in our prayers, and even more so now that we have one more thing in common - our anniversary. We never met Gabe, but I'm sure he was a blessing to all. May God drench you with His love and comfort in the days and years to come ... and may little Gabe be a reflection of his earthly - and hopefully of his future HEAVENLY FATHER. May he come to know and walk in his father's footsteps, always following the Father's ways and shining HIS light to all through him! May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord's face shine upon you ... and give you peace ... FOREVER!

Dear Hannah and Family,

My heart and prayers go out to you and the rest of the family. I did not have the pleasure of meeting your husband or you. I have only heard great things about your husband through my own husband and others.

Dear Hannah and the family who loved and treasured Gabe!
Please, accept our deepest sympathy on Gabe’s death. This terrible news rang with great pain in our hearts. We are constantly praying that God would comfort you and strengthen you in the faith, that you would not doubt even for a moment in His mercy and grace. Today all our church was praying for you with many tears. Gabe remains in our memory as a very kind, attentive, smiling young man, always surrounded with children. We are praying that all of us would be open to hear what God wants to tell us through the loss of such a wonderful person and a Christian.
The day when Gabe left us has become his birthday into a new and everlasting life. He is not a pilgrim anymore, but he is in his Homeland, where there are no sorrows. He sees now in Whom we should believe and he is surrounded with what we should await.
We are with you in our prayers.
With love – Vladimir, Maria and Serj Sagadeyev

Dear Hannah & family,

We were blessed recently by the testimony of Caleb Suko & family at our church, & our church supports them, which is how we have come to know of the loss of Gabriel. We have been praying for your healing & comfort, & are rejoicing & praising God that he knew Jesus as Saviour, & that his death was not in vain. We pray that God will continue to be your strength, comfort & very present help in time of need. I can understand the real concern that you live with on a day to day basis when a loved one is in the military, defending our freedom. My brother & his wife are both in the Navy. I also want you to know that we pray on a regular basis for the safety of all our troops in harm's way, & we are so proud of the best military in the world. We applaud your family for having such a true hero, not just in what he did so unselfishly for our country, but also that he was uncompromising in his testimony before an unsaved world. May Jesus Christ continue to be praised in the days & weeks ahead, & may He uphold & sustain you. May you know the height, the depth, the richness & the fulness of the love of our Almighty God, who knows with us what it is like to give the very most precious gift we have to give. How WONDERFUL to know that we love & serve a God who KNOWS our pain, & how awesome to know that we WILL see our loved ones again, & in Christ, everything will be complete. Love in Christ,
The Lorenz Family--Levi, Colleen, Aidan & Lydia Lorenz
